{{ STICKY NOTE TO SAY }}

In another life I am known as fieryrogue.

The Cookleta Index of Greatness is HERE.

Amazing stories that I recommend are HERE.

AVALANCHE: Cabin Fever [7/?] -- PG

[title] AVALANCHE: Cabin Fever [7/?]
[author] kissontheneck [aka fieryrogue]
[pairing] Cookleta, Marly UST, bromance!Mavid
[beta] It occurs to me now I should have had rajkumari905 do it for reasons.
[rating] PG
[word count] 4553
[summary] David is on a nice holiday ski trip with his family. Unfortunately, he doesn't know how to ski, but a couple private lessons should remedy that problem.
[disclaimer] Surely, I have nothing to do with either of these fine young men, no matter how much I wish I did.
[warnings] None.
[author's notes] My apologies for so many things. My thanks to everyone who continues to read and those who read for the first time. Long live Cookleta.

YOÜ AND I -- R

[title] Yoü and I
[author] kissontheneck [a.k.a. fieryrogue]
[pairing] Cookleta
[beta] None, so, you know.
[rating] R-ish?, language and sexual situations
[word count] 5314
[summary] David's been gone for two years, but now he's back in town.
[disclaimer] Surely, I have nothing to do with either of these fine young men, no matter how much I wish I did.
[warnings] Angsty, song!fic
[author's note] Oh. I was opening random half-written fics and WIPs today and clicked on this one not even remembering having started it. It was 3/4 of the way done, but needed a conflict that I just couldn't come up with. Enter real life David Archuleta, who ultimately provided one. Sure to be the first in a long line of Missionary Coping Fics. Just in case you've never heard of Lady Gaga, may I present this song to you now.

I'd give anything again to be your baby dollCollapse )

THE DREAM MACHINE -- NC-17

FOR jehane_writes, BECAUSE SHE IS AMAZING.

[title] The Dream Machine
[author] kissontheneck (a.k.a. fieryrogue)
[pairing] Cookleta
[beta] aohatsu, who really knows how to jab that beta stick
[rating] NC-17
[word count] 6225
[summary] Looking to the stars, one can easily fall in love. And once one falls in love, the desire to touch can become overwhelming.
[disclaimer] Surely, I have nothing to do with either of these fine young men, no matter how much I wish I did.
[warnings] Cyberpunk virtual sex. Quasi-prostitution and/or brothel-like setting, top!Archie
[author's notes] I don’t even know how this happened. I mean, aohatsu and I were talking about writing and kinkmemes and… remixes? Then one of us said something about doing porn!remixes and the other was like, "OMG, what if you did a porn!remix of—" and the next thing I know I’m trampling around in jehane_writes’s fabulous Somewhere Out There universe without permission and mucking everything up. (It seems everyone wants to have their way with her AU, as it were. Ahem.) But I hope she forgives me, and most of all likes it, and um, I love her?

AND SO THIS IS CHRISTMAS -- PG

[NOTE: I had total epic!fail for Christmas fic this year, but I also realized I never added my exchange fic from last year on this journal, so I present then this out-of-date, too-late-for-2011 Christmas fic for anyone who doesn't mind reruns and is still in the Christmas spirit. :D]

Author: fieryrogue
Recipient: jehane_writes
Title: And So This Is Christmas (Original post at cookleta_hols)
Pairing(s): David Cook/David Archuleta
Word Count:
Summary: Sometimes it's a "hurry up and wait" kind of day.
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: We are in no way officially affiliated with David Cook, David Archuleta or their representation. Everything about them is completely fiction, and any similarity with reality is a mere coincidence. No copyright infringement is ever intended.
Warning(s): I had no time for beta-ing, I'm so sorry (I ran over two deadlines for goodness sake, gah!) so this might be a mess. Yeah, that's a warning.
Author's Notes: This is where I say that I didn't follow jehane_writes's requests at all. But I think she'll like it anyway? OH DEAR, I HOPE SO. *hopes* I can't help what the muse brings me! Besides, I think she'll forgive me. Maybe. (Also, frackin_sweet said it was okay, so I relinquish all responsibility onto her.) (Of course, she did also give me ideas, so, I shall now recall all the responsibility back onto myself. ♥)

And so happy Christmas, I hope you had fun...Collapse )

[title] It's All Wrong (But It's All Right) (Original post at cookleta_etc)
[author] kissontheneck (a.k.a. fieryrogue)
[pairing] Cookleta
[beta] None, yikes. No time, no time!
[rating] PG
[word count] 3302
[summary] David misses Christmas in Utah.
[disclaimer] Surely, I have nothing to do with either of these fine young men, no matter how much I wish I did.
[warnings] Fake snow, ugly Christmas sweaters, store-bought pie (OH, THE HUMANITY).
[author's notes] Written for nieliegen for the fic exchange at cookleta_etc. Happy Christmas! :D Also, I was rushing this to the deadline because I'm the best procrastinator in the whole wide world, so my apologies if anything is weird or awkward or just not good. I meant to do so much more with this, but time just slipped away from me. I hope it's good enough (and doesn't sound too much like it was written at the last possible moment)! (Insert my typical apologetics because I'm... well, me.)

You're not supposed to go to the beach at Christmas. That doesn't even make sense!Collapse )

AVALANCHE: Fall Line [6/?] -- PG

[title] AVALANCHE: Fall Line [6/?]
[author] kissontheneck [aka fieryrogue]
[pairing] Cookleta, Marly UST, bromance!Mavid
[beta] Emergency heroes rajkumari905 and aohatsu standing in for the ever hard-working jehane_writes this time.
[rating] PG
[word count] 5268
[summary] David is on a nice holiday ski trip with his family. Unfortunately, he doesn't know how to ski, but a couple private lessons should remedy that problem.
[disclaimer] Surely, I have nothing to do with either of these fine young men, no matter how much I wish I did.
[warnings] Too many descriptions of Cook's eyes. O_o
[author's notes] I just want to take this opportunity to love on everyone who reads this, has been reading it, will continue reading it, even when the author thinks she's David Cook and takes two years to make a new album/chapter. I love you all. :)

TRIFECTA -- PG

[title] Trifecta
[author] kissontheneck (a.k.a. fieryrogue
[pairing] Cookleta
[beta] I think it was aohatsu, idk.
[rating] PG
[word count] 1985
[summary] David hears a sound in the middle of the night and wants Cook to go investigate. What they find wasn't expected at all.
[disclaimer] Surely, I have nothing to do with either of these fine young men, no matter how much I wish I did.
[warnings] It's a bit cracky, honestly. Domestic.
[author's note] As usual, aohatsu has forced me to write something for her, which I guess is okay because I haven't posted anything in about a thousand years. (Side note: I am working on things, like say, ski!fic, just so you know. But I'm struggling a little so pleeaaase be patient. I know I'm taking literally years to finish it.) It started with a bizarre conversation (as these things always do) and then she demanded a few things of me a couple hours ago, starting as a "write me a little fic according to my whims in this chat window, NAO." It got longer than I intended and then she insisted I post it so here you go. The cracky twist is all Kristie's fault, but I like it and I'm kinda glad to be posting something. YAY.

Also I love Kristie and want to marry her and love her and devote my life to her forever. And ever. AND EVER. My love for her is the climbing-mountains, swimming-oceans, treading-deserts sort of love, and sometimes I just sob thinking about it. SHE IS MY ONE AND ONLY. I PLEDGE MYSELF TO HER. FOREVER. Also, she did not hack this journal to post this post. Honest. I JUST LOVE HER THAT MUCH.

SHE'S NOT YOU -- PG

[title] She's Not You
[author] kissontheneck [a.k.a. fieryrogue]
[pairing] Cookleta, Archie/OFC
[beta] That girl who makes me do everything, aohatsu
[rating] PG (including one sprig of off-color Cook language)
[word count] 4492
[summary] She has soft hair and crystal blue eyes, is amazing at violin and volunteers at the animal shelter on Saturdays. Basically she's perfect except for one little thing.
[disclaimer] Surely, I have nothing to do with either of these fine young men, no matter how much I wish I did.
[warnings] Kinda angsty, yeah.
[author's notes] I started this for rajkumari905's birthday, which was like a million years ago now. I don’t know why I came up with something so angsty for someone’s birthday, let alone rajkumari905’s, but alas. I was totally stuck on it though and kept writing and scrapping stuff. I put it aside to rest. Then the other day I was at work minding my own business, when my iPod decided to play "The Last Goodbye," "She's Not You," and "Silver," all in a row. I was like, "Okay, geez, I get it!" Inspiration suddenly struck and poured forth. And now I present you with the result. Happy birthday, rajkumari905, which we shall celebrate whenever we like. :D

No matter what I do, I can't believe the lie.Collapse )

CAT SCRATCH FEVER -- G

[title] Cat Scratch Fever
[author] kissontheneck [a.k.a. fieryrogue]
[pairing] Cookleta
[beta] aohatsu
[rating] G (R if you live in Scandinavia, since "kuk" apparently means "cock" in Swedish and Norwegian. XD)
[word count] 2564
[summary] Cavemen can have pets too, you know.
[disclaimer] Surely, I have nothing to do with either of these fine young men, no matter how much I wish I did.
[warnings] Hahaha, none I guess?
[author's notes] For aohatsu, who has apparently proved that if you harass me enough, I'll give in to what you want. I can't believe I'm writing more of this, but here we are. This is a sequel (?) to Year One, which you probably want to read first if you haven't before, but probably isn't absolutely necessary. Just know that Cookleta are... uh, prehistoric. (Kuka'vi??)

THE LAST GOODBYE -- G

[title] The Last Goodbye
[author] kissontheneck [a.k.a. fieryrogue]
[pairing] Cookleta
[beta] None!
[rating] G
[word count] 1294
[summary] Cook will never say that word, not ever.
[disclaimer] Surely, I have nothing to do with either of these fine young men, no matter how much I wish I did.
[warnings] Melancholy-sad for a bit, even though Pri told me NOT to be sad! I can't heeellp iiittt.
[author's notes] For rajkumari905, who flailed at me today. Also serves as speculative theory about what Cook's first single off the new album is going to be about. Heeee. Also I wrote this straight through and it's just a little thing, so it's not Great Expectations or anything. I also just realized it’s kind of written in an aohatsu episodic kind of way, though I’m not nearly as good at it as she is. ;)

I usually put lyrics here, but I can't this time! AHHHH.Collapse )
